Bundle Birth Nurses
Executive Director of
Bundle Birth Nursing
Hello! My name is Justine Arechiga and I am a Registered Nurse from Southern California. I became fascinated with birth and women's health during nursing school. Once I saw my first birth it was all over. I was hooked. I think women are amazing and I work every day in bettering the care of women during child birth.
It took me a LONG time to become a nurse. I was a student in my community college for 9 years before I graduated with my ADN. I have had so many jobs and NONE of them were in healthcare. I think this is more common than we think and I love to encourage new nurses to be proud of their past work experiences and understand the value they bring to their new nursing career!
My choice to join Bundle Birth and leave the hospital is driven by my desire to CHANGE THE GAME. Sarah and I wanted to change the culture of labor and delivery nursing and figure out a way to nurture and grow passion-- instead of letting it die.
Through my education and experience, my desire is to provide education and support for nurses has grown tremendously. Helping a new nurse find her confidence, an experience nurse get "woke" or a passionless nurse see her younger self again feels my soul.
I look forward to creating life-long relationships with nurses and build a community that inspires each other! We work in such a unique field and have SO much impact on you client's lives.
Your job is IMPORTANT. You make a difference! This is a fact that I want to drill into every nurse I meet. Everything you say, do and feel during you shift taking care of mothers and their families matters. Even on days you think nothing you are doing is working, I want you to hear my voice saying it is, and you are growing, learning and changing.
I am a mother and wife. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 chickens. During my free time when I am not obsessing over birth you can find me camping, hiking, playing board games and binging Netflix.

Bundle Birth Nurse Mentor
Birth is powerful and transforming. So are nurses. My passion is supporting nurses as they recognize, own, and utilize their influence to positively impact care for birthing families. Like labor, our work does not get easier, but we become stronger together - through shared experience, education, and inspiration.
Over the past 10 years I have cared for both nurses and families as an L&D clinical nurse, childbirth educator, nurse leader, and adjunct university faculty. Additionally, I love volunteering because I believe nurses are essential to delivering high quality, evidence-based care. I currently serve in various leadership capacities with AWHONN-UT and the Utah Women’s and Newborn Quality Collaborative.
I am humbled and excited to be a part of the Bundle Birth team. I love collaborating with Sarah and Justine. We share passion, purpose, and vision. It’s truly a privilege to support, guide, and encourage you as you realize your possibility and potential to shape the care we provide for expectant families.
I am a mother, wife, skier, meal planner, traveler, and always a nurse.
[*Fun fact - Mykel is one of Sarah's mentors!! You are in for a TREAT!]
